Happy Easter!

While we were away

So we have been MIA for the past weeks since Maddens blessing. We went to a BEAUTIFUL home in Aspen with my sister parents and friends, then home for a couple of days, and then away to St. George with Jimmys family. We were so lucky to have PERFECT weather for both getaways! I will post some pictures in a couple of days, but for the meantime, enjoy this picture of Maylees first lollipop while shopping in the aspen shops!

Madden blessing Day!

Today was a Beautiful day for our family. Jimmy was able to bless Madden. I remember Maylees Blessing day being overwhelmed by all the love for my new baby, family and Friends, and Maddens day didn't fall short. My feelings grew even more, love that I didn't even know was possible. I feel so blessed to have Maddens sweet calm spirit in Maylee, Jimmy, and My life. He blesses us all each and everyday.

I thought here was nothing better than one of my babies getting in bed with us in the morning, but there is now.... TWO babies!

Really?

Yes, we have a smart girl on our hands. So a couple of weekends ago, I had it with her emptying all of our cabinets out, so we put on the tabs so she can't get into them. This is now what keeps her busy.......

Maddens growing so big!

I love that he is TRYING to smile and coo... it is pretty few and far between, but i think this was a real smile,and the yawn was so cute too. He gets his entire body moving and then lets out the smallest sound. These were taken on my phone, so they aren't the best, but I loved them and have not taken any....I need to be better. He is just getting so cute, and of course growing too fast!

Maylee's evil eyes

If there is anything that looks like shampoo, she rubs it in her hair. Tonight it was ranch, she gave me her evil eyes when we said no... Threatening right?

Shoveling snow with daddy

This was Maylee's first experience in the snow! I wish I would have gotten a picture of when the chair tipped and she fell flat on her face in the snow, but I couldn't leave her even for a second in the snow(belive me it did cross my mind)! Oh, and don't mind the miss matched outfit we put all that we had warm on her!

We are in Love!

I can't get enough of this baby boy, I don't want him to grow up. I want him to stay his itty bitty self, and curl his back when you pick him up, scrunch his face, turn his head toward you when you kiss his cheeks, yawn the cutest yawns ever, grunt when you put him down and goes right to sleep when you cuddle him. We are so in love.

Madden Pictures

So I had an appointment the Thurday after baby boy was born, and Maylee was sick, and I didn't have it in me at the time to take them both to Salt lake to have them done. I couldn't get pictures until the 5th, and I was worried that Madden would be too old. So I figured I would attempt at taking newborn pictures. so here they are. I thought that they turned out pretty decient. I didn't even want to try adding Maylee though, maybe I'll attempt that when Jimmy is home to be my assistant!

Maylee's Pigtails

So I have not known what to do with Maylee's hair! Its long and wispy, straight in front and curly in back. So we tried pigtails....doesn't she look old!

Madden's first bath

So we were thinking that he would just love his batheys as Maylee did! He didn't, I think it was because his whole body wasn't totally submerged. So it was a quick one, and he even curled his bottom lip as he cried... so sad, but don't you just want to kiss that!

Christmas Day

We had a great Christmas spending it with lots of family! We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

Maylee Meets Santa

Madden James Epperson

Madden James Epperson made his big arrival on Thursday December 15th at 4:50 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz. and measured 19 1/2" long! He has his dads long fingers, arms and toes, moms button nose, and has a STRONG resemblance to Maylee when she was born! We couldn't be more excited and happy to have such a beautiful healthy baby boy added to our now family of FOUR. More pictures to come.... I promise!

Maylees First Birthday

I can't believe that she is already one!! This year has gone by unbelievably fast, and we are happy each and every day we are blessed to have her in our lives! She is such a special girl, and keeps us laughing each and every day with her funny personality and amazing quirks...

Some of ours and your favorite things:

-You dance to jimmy beat boxing, and any music you hear.

-"Let me see your teefies (teeth)", and you will show us all of your 12 teeth!

-As much as we want you too, you will not walk for us. We try and you tuck your legs up into your belly and whine.....

- You LOVE your batheys time. Whenever we say batheys you will start pulling on your clothes to take off your clothes.

-You LOVE your TWO blankeys. Not just one now TWO!

-When we ask you your age, you will hold up a one on both fingers and give us a big grinner and clap.

-You love fruit, and candy, just like your mommy and will find it ANYWHERE!

We LOVE you so much, and are so Thankful each day you are in our lives! Happy First Birthday!

Test Post!

I know its been a while since I have posted, but it seems like this summer flew with all of the business of life, home projects, trips, and getting ready for our baby boy to come. So when I got on to post, it wouldn't let me anymore. Thanks to some help, we were able finally able to figure it out. So hopefully you don't mind the jumbled, random, catch up posts. Until I sort through all of my pictures, enjoy this cute one that I took of Maylees cute figure!

Times like this...

I can't belive how much I love this girl to think that this is funny! Maylee is growing so fast, she is almost 8 months, going on to the terrible two's. She wants to eat on her own and with her own spoon {doesn't that seem early}! If I don't give her the spoon she will shake her head back and forth and then grab the spoon until the food flings across the floor. Its a good thing she makes us smile and laugh more and more each and every day because it was not the easiest to clean up that spaghetti-o type baby food, YUCK! I have a feeling there will be MANY more times like this!

Wyoming

So I have been so bad at blogging lately...not sure why, just have been, and even worse at taking pictures. But Andrea inspired me with her cute post, to share the fun time we had in Wyoming with Jordan and Ash and Austin and Anj. Of course we decided to do an impromptu photo shoot ... and I thought that the pictures turned out great, the flowers were gorgeous and Maylee was grinning (which is few and far between)!
